FILA Brings Tennis and Culture Together at 2026 WHITE OPEN SEOUL

2026.09.30

[Seoul, Korea - September 30, 2026] FILA, the Italian sports brand operated by Misto Korea, will bring its signature tennis festival, 2026 WHITE OPEN SEOUL, to the Culture Plaza at Yeouido Park in Seoul on October 10–11.

Returning for its fourth year, WHITE OPEN SEOUL celebrates FILA’s longstanding tennis heritage by bringing the sport beyond the traditional court and into the heart of the city. Starting from its first event at Gwanghwamum Square in 2023, the festival has traveled to some of Seoul’s most recognizable urban destinations, including Olympic Park’s Peace Plaza in 2024 and Banpo Yebitseom in 2025. This year, the two-day event will transform Yeouido Park into an open tennis and lifestyle destination where players, newcomers, families and friends can play, connect and enjoy the sport together.

Participation will take center stage this year, with more opportunities for visitors to get on court and experience tennis firsthand. At the TENNIS SKILLS ZONE, professional coaches will offer hands-on instruction tailored to different skill levels, while visitors will be able to test FILA’s latest performance tennis shoe, the AXILUS PRO 4, in an on-court setting.

Tennis fans will also have the opportunity to step onto the court with FILA tennis legends and coaches, including Hyung-taik Lee and Yong-kyu Lim, through special match programs. Select sessions will be open to customers who have submitted an AXILUS PRO 4 wear review, as well as visitors trying the shoe at the festival, creating a rare opportunity to play alongside some of Korea’s most recognized names in tennis.

FILA is also extending the experience to customers beyond the event. Those who purchase the AXILUS PRO 4 through FILA’s official online store or retail locations nationwide and submit a wear review online will be eligible for selection to take part in exclusive tennis experiences with FILA coaches at WHITE OPEN SEOUL.

Beyond the court, WHITE OPEN SEOUL will bring together pickleball, food and beverage offerings and lifestyle experiences, making the festival accessible to visitors whether or not they regularly play tennis. The weekend will culminate on October 11 with an AFTER CONCERT featuring popular music artists, open to all festival visitors.

This year’s festival will be held in connection with the Seoul Metropolitan Government’s Seoul Nanum-Ieum Network initiative, adding a charitable dimension to the event. FILA will operate a donation program linked to WHITE OPEN SEOUL, with contributions tied to the number of participants in tennis programs and visitors to the festival. The brand will also donate a portion of proceeds from tennis shoe sales made through its online and offline channels during the event period. Through the initiative, visitors will be able to enjoy the festival while also taking part in giving back to the local community.

“WHITE OPEN SEOUL is about making tennis something everyone can experience and enjoy, whether they are longtime players or picking up a racket for the first time,” said a spokesperson for Misto Korea. “By bringing together tennis, culture and community, we hope to share FILA’s tennis heritage in a way that feels relevant to today’s consumers while creating more opportunities for people to connect through sport.”

2026 WHITE OPEN SEOUL will be held October 10–11 at the Culture Plaza at Yeouido Park in Seoul and will be open to the public free of charge.
